Withstand voltage

1,500 VAC for 1 minute between the power supply terminal and the I/O terminals and between all the external terminals and the case

Insulation resistance

50 MΩ or more (tested with a 500 VDC megger, between the PLC power supply terminal and the I/O terminals and between all the external terminals and the case)

Vibration resistance

Intermittent vibration

Frequency: 10 to 57 Hz

Amplitude : 0.075 mm*3

Frequency: 57 to 150 Hz

Acceleration : 9.8 m/s2*3

Continuous vibration

Frequency: 10 to 57 Hz

Amplitude : 0.035 mm*3

Frequency: 57 to 150 Hz

Acceleration : 4.9 m/s2*3

Allowable power flicker time

2 ms (When in use. In normal situations, this conforms to the CPU unit.)

Performance specifications

Positioning control

Number of control axes

2-axis simultaneous (linear interpolation, circular interpolation), 2-axis independent

Appropriated device

For each unit : input : 5 channels, output : 5 channels, arbitrary data registers (data memory) : 280 words

Cumulative address

-2,147,483,648 to +2,147,483,647 pulses (2 to the power of 32)

Positioning control

Positioning mode

Absolute coordinate, relative coordinate, speed control to positioning, positioning to speed control, speed control (only during independent operation)

Position setting range

Startup time

Independent operation : 1.1 ms, linear interpolation : 1.8 ms, circular interpolation : 2.1 ms

Number 1 to 255, WITH/AFTER mode

Origin return

Origin return method

There are two types of origin returning operations : high-speed returning (which does not require the sensor in front of the origin) and origin returning that shares the CCW limit switch and the origin sensor. Origin detection can be set to the AND condition of the origin sensor and the Z-phase. There is a function for automatically returning to the origin when the power is turned on. There is a function for automatic travel to the home position when the origin returning operation completes.

Current coordinate teaching using JOG travel, direct teaching using the current counter value, external teaching from a PLC

High-speed counter

Signed 24-bit (counts from -8,388,608 to +8,388,607) × 2, each of the 2 comparators has a fractional coordinate transformation function, speed changing by way of comparator matching, deceleration stop, fixed dimension feeding deceleration stop

Data backup

EEPROM rewritable 100,000 times. Electric double-layer capacitors are used to hold the current coordinate and current value of the high-speed counter for 2 months (at 25°C). Parameters that are changed by the PLC are written to the EEPROM the next time that the power is turned on.

Applicable PLCs

Maximum number of series connectable units

48 maximum (For 16 units or more, extension units are necessary.)

Number of memory points

400 (for each axis)

Position setting units

Speed setting range

1 to 500,000 p/s : automatic trapezoid, cosine, second-order curve, third-order curve, parabola acceleration and deceleration (the starting speed is 0 to 500,000 p/s); 1 to 99,999,999 when the setting unit is mm/s or deg/s

Acceleration/deceleration setting range

1 to 65000 mm/s/ms, deg/s/ms, p/s/ms

Acceleration/deceleration control units

Acceleration : 1 ms, deceleration : 2 ms

Standby after deceleration, start immediately after deceleration, consecutive acceleration and deceleration without deceleration

Pulse output format

Line driver output, 1/2 pulse method

External interface

Input : 24 VDC, photocoupler input; output : open-collector output (30 VDC, 300 mA), no overcurrent protection circuit

5 V power source

5 V ±10%, 100 mA maximum (when 24 VDC is applied to input connectors 13 and 14)

Sensor positioning

Positioning to an arbitrary point through the use of a stop sensor

Repeated addition of relative amount, return function

Error indication

Output of error details to the KZ-HP1 or CPU unit

Power flicker detection

Stops operation when a power flicker error is detected

Diagnoses can be performed according to hardware errors, various parameter errors, error numbers, and messages.

Parameter settings

This is also possible by way of setting the data memory and controlling the relays of the KZ-HP1 teaching unit or of the dedicated parameter settings monitor software.
